Understand our cancellation terms for desert safari bookings
At Desert Safari Dubai, we understand that plans can change. Please read our cancellation policy carefully to understand your options and any applicable charges.

Cancellation Timeline Reference
1. Standard Cancellation Policy
Free Cancellation (24+ hours before tour)
Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour start time are eligible for a full refund. The refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
Late Cancellation (Within 24 hours)
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time will be charged 100% of the booking amount. No refund will be issued for late cancellations.
No-Show Policy
If you fail to arrive at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time, or miss the tour without prior notification, it will be considered a no-show and no refund will be provided.
Please ensure you are ready at your pickup location at least 5-10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.

3. Special Event & Holiday Cancellations
Different cancellation terms may apply for special events and peak holiday periods:

| New Year's Eve (Dec 31) | No cancellations or refunds within 7 days of the event. 50% charge if cancelled 7-14 days prior. |
| Public Holidays (Eid, National Day, etc.) | Cancellations must be made 48+ hours before for full refund. 50% charge within 48 hours. |
| Peak Season (Dec - Jan) | Standard 24-hour cancellation policy applies, subject to availability for rescheduling. |
| Group Bookings (10+ persons) | Special cancellation terms apply. Please refer to your booking confirmation or contact us. |
If you have booked a special event package, please check your booking confirmation email for specific cancellation terms.
4. Tour Modifications
If your plans change but you don't want to cancel entirely, consider these options:
Date Change
Free date changes up to 24 hours before your tour, subject to availability.
Change Number of Guests
Add guests subject to availability. Reducing guests may affect package pricing.
Tour Upgrade
Upgrade to Private or VIP tour by paying the difference (subject to availability).
Time Change
Time changes are subject to availability. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.
All modification requests must be made via WhatsApp or email. We recommend confirming changes at least 24 hours before your tour.
5. How to Cancel Your Booking
To cancel or modify your booking, please contact us through any of these channels:
When contacting us, please provide:
- Booking reference number
- Full name used for booking
- Tour date and time
- Reason for cancellation (optional)
6. Partial Cancellations
If you need to cancel for only part of your group:

| Cancel some guests from a group booking | Refund for canceled guests (if within 24+ hours) minus any per-person costs already incurred. |
| Cancel add-ons (quad bike, etc.) | Add-ons canceled 24+ hours before tour are fully refundable. Within 24 hours, no refund. |
| Child/infant cancellation | Same policy applies based on timing of cancellation. |

9. Travel Insurance Recommendation
Protect Your Trip
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies, flight delays, or other personal reasons that may prevent you from joining your tour.
Most travel insurance policies cover tour cancellations for covered reasons.
